The Technical Challenge

Develop a transformer substation with a 33 kV overhead line for plant supply, integrating the yard, medium-voltage switching, and line routing in a single project.

The INELCO Solution

INELCO executed the assembly of the transformer substation and the 33 kV generation yard for the energy supply of a water injection plant, including the provision and assembly of Schneider 13 kV and ABB 33 kV disconnectors, measurement boxes, transformers, switchgear, and medium-voltage protections.

The scope also included the manufacturing, supply, and laying of low-voltage control and command cables from the shelter to the electrical yard, ensuring continuity between instrumentation, switching, and field operation.

Regarding the line front, 40 km of 33 kV mixed overhead line were built using Canadian suspensions, strain structures, and concrete poles, along with medium-voltage undergrounding, splices, terminal connectors, and the laying of shield wire with fiber optics to complete the associated infrastructure.
