Medium Voltage Cell Replacement + 33 kV Underground Line

Medium Voltage Cell Replacement + 33 kV Underground Line

Client
nacional
Industry
Substations and medium-voltage switching
Location
Cuyo, Argentina.
The Technical Challenge

Renew medium-voltage cells and link a 33 kV underground line while minimizing critical interventions on the transformer substation.

The INELCO Solution

INELCO executed the replacement of medium-voltage cells at the transformer substation with the latest Schneider line, incorporating the manufacturing of terminal connectors, laying of underground conductors between the yard and the cell room, manufacturing of gas exhaust ducts, and commissioning of the entire set.

The project was complemented by the assembly of 19 km of two 33 kV circuits from the transformer substation, the manufacturing of bases for concrete poles in overhead diversions, new terminal connectors, and the full commissioning of the underground link.

Industry
Lime processing and industrial grinding
Location
Cuyo, Argentina.
The Technical Challenge

Integrate power, drives, control, and electromechanical assembly in hydration, micronizing, and grinding plants with high continuous process demand.

The INELCO Solution

INELCO executed the electrical assembly of the hydration plant and the manufacturing of LVDPs and power MCCs for the lime micronizing plant, including drives, command and control MCCs, and a 315 kW variable frequency drive for a ball mill as part of a turnkey project.

The scope also covered the electrical assembly of the coke grinding plant, including cabling, MCC manufacturing, cable laying, automation, SCADA integration, and commissioning to complete the process control and operation scheme.
